Dr. Lim Poh Ying, PhD

Dr. Lim Poh Ying is currently working as Senior Lecturer at Department of Community Health, Universiti Putra Malaysia. In the meantime, she is Biostatistician in Clinical Research Unit, Hospital Pengajar Universiti Putra Malaysia. She serves on the Editorial Boards of International Journal of Public Health and Clinical Sciences (IJPHCS).

Her major research interest involves usage of various types of complex and advanced statistical methods on analysing different types of data. She has involved in various types of research projects. She has authored and co-authored up to 40 national and international publications and working as a reviewer for reputed professional journals.

As a Biostatistician, she envisages an academic culture of which everyone in this school has good understandings in Biostatistics through initiatives to equip academic staffs and postgraduate students. The Biostatistics workshop and sharing held regularly to the medical healthcare workers, academic staffs and postgraduate students have increased their understanding in Biostatistics.
